PT - Orthopedic Outpatient Hand Therapy

\n\n

Job Details:

\n

• Work in an orthopedic outpatient hand therapy clinic providing 1:1 patient care with one 45-minute appointment every hour
\n• Perform appropriate evaluation tests and measurements based on patient diagnosis
\n• Develop treatment plans and reassess and revise every 12 visits or earlier based on patient progress
\n• Administer physical therapy techniques and modalities appropriate to each diagnosis
\n• Document progress reports in a timely manner to coincide with physician follow-up visits and assist with insurance authorization and reimbursement
\n• Interact with all hospital departments and medical staff across inpatient and outpatient services
\n• Minimum of one year of physical therapy experience preferred
\n• Experience in hand therapy required
\n• Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program and hold a valid California Physical Therapy license
\n• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required
\n• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) certification preferred
\n• Ability to work effectively with patients, peers, physicians, and ancillary departments
