American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift travel assignment at a medical center in Utah, requiring active NBRC credentials and cardiopulmonary care experience.

  • Night shift schedule: 1800–0600 with a 6 days on / 8 days off rotation

  • 13-week contract
  • \n
  • Cardiopulmonary and respiratory therapy department
  • \n
  • Provides care to patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities, including emergency department patients
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy
  • \n
  • Active Utah State Respiratory Therapist license required if applicable
  • \n
  • Valid, active NBRC credential in good standing
  • \n
  • Required certifications: RRT or CRT, ACLS, BLS/BCLS, and RPSGT
  • \n
  • AARC/USRC membership preferred
  • \n
  • DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
  • \n
Additional Information\n

  • Works under the supervision of the Respiratory Medical Director and Department Manager
  • \n
  • Responsible for patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and therapeutic interventions in accordance with physician orders and department policies
  • \n
  • Performs triage to prioritize care based on physical and psychosocial needs and patient flow
  • \n
  • Communicates patient status changes, symptomatology, and diagnostic results to ED physicians
  • \n
  • Provides patient, caregiver, and community education as part of respiratory care services
  • \n
