Maintenance Technician

Our client is hiring for multiple positions across the USA, this is not a remote role, but on-site in either Iowa, Wisconsin or Minnesota.

We're hiring a hands-on Maintenance Technician for a busy food manufacturing facility in northwest Iowa. You'll be keeping production equipment running at its best — handling everything from routine preventive maintenance to emergency breakdowns — and playing a direct role in keeping the plant compliant, safe, and productive

What You'll Be Doing

• Performing routine and preventive maintenance on processing and packaging equipment
\n
• Responding to emergency/unscheduled mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic repairs
\n
• Setting up and preparing machinery for scheduled production runs
\n
• Troubleshooting equipment faults across both electrical and mechanical systems
\n
• Completing work orders and maintaining accurate maintenance records
\n
• Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime
\n
• Maintaining buildings and grounds as needed
\n
• Adhering to GMP, OSHA safety standards and all company safety policies
\n

What You Bring

\n
• High School Diploma or equivalent (technical school coursework in electrical, welding, HVAC or boiler maintenance is a plus)
\n
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance/repair experience in a manufacturing environment
\n
• Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude
\n
• Ability to read equipment manuals, electrical schematics and work orders
\n
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
\n
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
\n
• Basic computer skills for work order management systems
\n
