We’re looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist who thrives in a collaborative, resident-centered environment and is passionate about improving outcomes in the long-term care setting.
What You’ll DoConduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive-linguistic, voice, and swallowing evaluations
Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with resident goals and clinical best practices
Provide skilled therapy to residents with neurological, cognitive, and age-related impairments
Implement dysphagia management and safe-swallow strategies
Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary team collaboration
Document services accurately, timely, and in compliance with regulatory standards
Educate residents, families, and staff on communication strategies and safe-swallowing techniques
Support quality improvement initiatives within the rehab department
Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Experience in long-term care or geriatrics preferred (new grads welcome!)
Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work independently
