At Total Care ABA, we are passionate about helping children with autism and developmental needs thrive. As a growing provider of in-home and in-school ABA services throughout Maine, we are looking for caring and dedicated Behavioral Health Professionals (BHPs) to join our supportive, family-focused team.
In this rewarding role, you'll provide one-on-one ABA therapy, work closely with children and families, and receive guidance and mentorship from experienced Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).

What You'll Do
• Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy in homes, schools, and community settings
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA
• Collect, record, and report data on client progress
• Support the development of communication, social, and daily living skills
Behavioral Health Professional
Screener questions:
Must hold a current BHP Certification
Must Reside in Maine
Build positive relationships with children and their families
Collaborate with BCBAs and other members of the clinical team to ensure successful outcomes.
What we expect from you:
• Current BHP certification required (We can help you obtain certification if needed!)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with children preferred, but not required
• Experience supporting individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus
• Passion for helping children and families succeed
Schedule Options
Full-Time - 35–40 hours per week
Part-Time - 10–20 hours per week Flexible Shift Options Available
Services provided in person throughout Maine
