At Heights Care and Rehab, we're looking for a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our therapy team. Whether you're helping a resident regain communication skills after a stroke, improving cognitive function, or ensuring safe swallowing and nutrition, your expertise will make a profound difference in the lives of those we serve.

What You'll Do
  • Evaluate residents with communication, cognitive, speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders

  • Develop individualized treatment plans designed to maximize resident outcomes

  • Provide evidence-based speech therapy interventions

  • Assess and manage dysphagia, swallowing safety, and dietary recommendations

  • Collaborate with nursing, dietary, therapy, physicians, and families to ensure coordinated care

  • Participate in care planning and discharge planning meetings

  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies and safety recommendations

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

  • Help residents achieve the highest possible level of independence and quality of life

What We're Looking For
  • Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in the State of Colorado

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

  • Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Passion for improving the lives of older adults

  • Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred, but not required

  • Clinical Fellowship candidates may be considered
