LPN Night Charge Nurse

Job Summary:

Arbor Care Centers - Ord is seeking a compassionate and skilled LPN Night Charge Nurse to join our team! As a Night Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing facility during the night shift, ensuring the highest level of care for our residents. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and assisting with daily living activities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) during the night shift

• Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team

• Conduct rounds and monitor resident conditions, reporting any changes or concerns to the DON or MD

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including documentation of patient care and medication administration

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory standards

Requirements:

• Current LPN license in the state of Nebraska

• Minimum 0 years of experience in long-term care or a related field

• Ability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods
