We are currently seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian (RD) with Long-Term Care (LTC) experience to join our healthcare team in providing quality nutrition care to residents. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to positively impact the health and well-being of older adults in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete initial nutrition assessments, care plans, and MDS (Minimum Data Set) as part of the care planning process.

  • Attend weekly risk meetings and monitor residents for weight loss or other nutrition-related concerns.

  • Oversee the dietary department to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

  • Provide input into menu planning and develop therapeutic diets tailored to individual needs.

  • Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team.

  • Ensure adherence to nutrition standards and best practices in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.

  • Current Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential.

  • Previous experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or skilled nursing settings preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of MDS assessments and regulatory requirements for dietary services in LTC.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
