Occupational Therapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team at Lamar Estates, a premier Assisted Living Facilities in Lamar, CO. As an Occupational Therapist at Lamar Estates, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents by helping them achieve their goals and maintain their independence.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement individualized occupational therapy plans to meet the unique needs of our residents, focusing on areas such as fine motor skills, mobility, and cognitive functioning

  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify areas of strength and weakness, and develop strategies to address any challenges

  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care and support

  • Develop and implement adaptive strategies and techniques to enhance daily living skills, such as dressing, grooming, and feeding

  • Provide education and training to residents, families, and caregivers on occupational therapy techniques and strategies

  • Document all patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with facility policies and regulations
