MDS Nurse - Day Shift (Mon-Fri)

As an MDS Nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and autonomy of our seniors by implementing the federally mandated assessment tool to identify their unique needs and coordinate a plan of care.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the overall process and tracking of all Medicare/Medicaid case-mix documents to ensure accurate reimbursement for services provided

• Conduct concurrent MDS reviews to optimize reimbursement and achieve maximum allowable RUG categories

• Integrate information from various healthcare disciplines to ensure comprehensive care planning

• Perform other job-related duties as required

Requirements:

• MDS/RAI experience (Skilled Nursing Experience Preferred)

• Registered Nurse (RN) or LVN certification in Texas

• Knowledgeable of Medicaid legal regulations, guidelines, and best practices

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation
