Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Central Supply Coordinator to manage and maintain the inventory of medical and non-medical supplies within our skilled nursing facility. This role ensures that all departments have the necessary supplies to provide high-quality resident care while maintaining cost efficiency and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Order, receive, and stock medical and facility supplies
Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits
Distribute supplies to nursing units and other departments as needed
Monitor usage levels and prevent shortages or overstocking
Ensure proper storage and handling of supplies in compliance with safety and infection control standards
Work with vendors to track orders and resolve discrepancies
Assist with budget tracking and cost control initiatives
Maintain a clean, organized, and secure supply area
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in central supply, healthcare, or inventory management preferred
Knowledge of medical supplies and equipment is a plus
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to lift and move supplies (up to [insert weight requirement])
Basic computer skills for inventory systems and record-keeping
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
