Our skilled nursing facility offers a range of rehabilitation services, including speech and language therapy, to help our residents recover and achieve their individual goals.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our interdisciplinary team on a PRN basis. As an SLP with our facility, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse population of seniors, providing speech and language therapy services to help them recover from a variety of conditions and achieve their highest level of independence.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients to identify speech and language deficits

  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address patients' goals and needs

  • Provide skilled speech and language therapy services to patients, including but not limited to:

    • Articulation and phonology therapy

    • Language and cognitive therapy

    • Voice and fluency therapy

  • Collaborate with other members of the multidisciplinary team, including nurses, therapists, and physicians, to ensure comprehensive care

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care

  • Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress and treatment plans

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution

  • Current certification in speech-language pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
