Position Overview: We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapist. The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing and cardiopulmonary disorders. This role works collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality respiratory care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilites:
Assess, evaluate, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions.
Administer prescribed respiratory treatments, medications, and therapies.
Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment, including ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, and aerosol devices.
Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function testing.
Respond to emergency situations and provide airway management and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) as needed.
Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments, disease management, and equipment use.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately and in accordance with organizational policies.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, infection control practices, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain current knowledge of respiratory care best practices.
