What You'll Do

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will:

• Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments

• Provide ventilator management and monitoring

• Deliver tracheostomy (Trach) care

• Administer respiratory treatments and oxygen therapy

• Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans

• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members

• Monitor residents' respiratory status and modify treatments as appropriate

• Document assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately

• Educate residents, families, and staff regarding respiratory care

Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• Associate’s degree (minimum) from a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program

• Iowa Respiratory Therapist License (or eligibility)

• CRTT, CRT, RRT, or CCT credential

• BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)

• New graduates are encouraged to apply
