Job Summary

About the Role
As an Occupational Therapist at Spring Hill Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, you will provide high-quality occupational therapy services to our patients, including:
Evaluating patients' physical and cognitive abilities to develop personalized treatment plans
Implementing evidence-based interventions to improve patients' functional abilities and independence
Collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and communication
Educating patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and self-care techniques
Documenting patient progress and updating treatment plans as necessary
Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy services to patients with a wide range of diagnoses and conditions, including but not limited to, stroke, traumatic brain injury, and orthopedic injuries
Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients' physical and cognitive abilities
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve patients' goals and improve functional abilities
Implement multiple modalities of occupational therapy, including but not limited to, range of motion exercises, strength training, neuromuscular re-education, and cognitive rehabilitation
Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, including nursing, physical therapy, and speech-language pathology, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care
Provide education and support to patients and families on therapeutic exercises and self-care techniques
Document patient progress and update treatment plans as necessary
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
