Job Description
- Manage a full caseload of personal injury matters, including complex and high-exposure cases
- Evaluate claims, assess liability and damages, and develop litigation strategy
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda
- Take and defend depositions and participate in mediations and settlement negotiations
- Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and other proceedings
- Communicate effectively with clients, experts, and opposing counsel
- Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to move cases efficiently
Qualifications
- Active California Bar license in good standing
- 4+ years of personal injury litigation experience
- Strong writing, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage cases independently while working effectively within a team
- Experience in plaintiff, defense, in-house, or solo practice environments considered
