Per Diem Hospice Respiratory Therapist

The Per Diem Respiratory Therapist provides compassionate respiratory care and symptom management to hospice patients in home, facility, and inpatient settings. Responsibilities include assessing respiratory status, providing comfort-focused treatments, educating patients and families on respiratory equipment and oxygen therapy, documenting care, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary hospice team to support quality end-of-life care.

Qualifications

• Current state Respiratory Therapist license (CRT or RRT)
• Minimum 1 year of RT experience preferred
• Hospice, home health, or palliative care experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication and compassionate patient care skills

Schedule

Per diem / as-needed flexibility, including possible evenings and weekends.
