Job Summary:

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide resident care and services under the direction of the Registered Nurse in accordance with the laws, rules, and regulations of federal, state, and local agencies governing long-term care. The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing, have a current license to work in NY State, and have experience in a Long-Term Care environment (Preferred).

Responsibilities:

• Provide resident care and services under the direction of the Registered Nurse

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician

• Monitor and record vital signs, and report any changes or concerns to the Registered Nurse

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Participate in care planning and goal setting with the interdisciplinary team

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care

Available Shifts:

• 7am-3pm

• 3pm-11pm

Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing

• Must have a current license to work in NY State

• Experience in a Long-Term Care environment (Preferred)

• Union rate for FT: $29.58

• Per diem rate: $32.00 - $34.00
