Blue Palms Health & Rehabilitation of DeLand is looking to hire dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses to join our amazing Team! This position is an excellent opportunity for LPNs who are looking to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative environment while further developing their skills in a fast-paced setting. We are offering a $1,500 Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time Floor Nurses, as well as Weekly Pay, Great Benefits and a lots of fun activites for our staff.
Responsibilities
Requirements- Provide basic medical care such as measuring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with personal hygiene tasks.
- Monitor and record patients' health status and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Perform routine procedures, including dressing changes and injections, under supervision.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documenting care provided and patient responses to treatments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention.
- Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Florida.
- Current CPR or BLS Card.
- Strong understanding of nursing principles and practices, as well as applicable regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with patients and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Compassionate nature and strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and families.
- Basic computer skills for maintaining electronic health records and documentation
