We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to provide specialized respiratory care in our Ventilator Unit. This role is responsible for delivering high‑quality respiratory services to residents with complex needs while working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team.
Provide respiratory care to ventilator‑dependent residents
Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot mechanical ventilators and respiratory equipment
Perform respiratory assessments and administer prescribed treatments
Provide tracheostomy care and support ventilator weaning as ordered
Respond promptly to respiratory emergencies and changes in resident condition
Accurately document assessments, treatments, and resident responses
Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
Maintain compliance with infection control standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
Current and valid Respiratory Therapist (RT or RRT) license in the state of employment
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
Experience with ventilator‑dependent patients required
Skilled nursing, long‑term care, or LTACH experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
