Welder

Fairfield, NJ Manufacturing Facility

Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM

Pay: $17.50–$19.75/hr base + $2.25/hr shift differential ($19.75–$22.00/hr, based on experience)

About the Role

We're looking for Welders to join our Fabrication department on 2nd shift. You'll weld frames, legs, and other components, working from assembly drawings to produce quality parts and correct anything that falls out of spec.

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate TIG and MIG welding machines

• Select the correct jig or fixturing for each job

• Weld aluminum and steel parts as needed

• Complete drill and grind work as required

• Inspect finished welds and rework parts that are out of spec

• Read and interpret assembly drawings, BOMs, and related procedures

• Navigate computer-generated production boards

• Keep your workstation clean per 5S and safety protocols

• Support daily work and special projects alongside your team

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or GED

• Previous welding experience preferred

• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow directions

• Comfortable reading assembly drawings and BOMs

• Reliable attendance and flexibility with changing priorities

• Basic comfort navigating production systems on a computer

Physical Requirements

Standing up to 10 hours/day with frequent bending, reaching, and coordinated hand movements. Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally. Steel-toed shoes, welding mask, and supplemental PPE (weld gloves, sleeves, jackets/aprons) required. Warehouse environment, no air conditioning
