Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents

• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans

• Address ADLs, strength, coordination, cognition, and functional independence

• Provide caregiver and staff education to support carryover of therapy goals

• Collaborate with PT, SLP, nursing, and physicians to support patient outcomes

• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation

• Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team communication

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Nebraska (or eligibility for licensure)

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program

• Experience in skilled nursing or subacute rehab preferred; new graduates welcome

• Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and patient-centered skills
