Location: Lenexa, KS
Pay Rate: $28/hr
Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30am–8:00pm availability (8–10 hour shifts)

Why This Role Matters
As a Phlebotomist, you play a vital role in the patient experience and diagnostic process. Your ability to collect accurate specimens while building trust with patients directly impacts the quality of care and clinical outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Perform venipuncture and capillary collections on patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations
  • Prepare, label, and process specimens accurately following established procedures
  • Verify patient identification and ensure proper documentation, including patient signatures
  • Travel between locations to support multiple patient service centers and/or physician offices
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment
  • Provide exceptional customer service while promoting a positive patient experience
  • Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection as required
  • Manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting with minimal supervision

What We're Looking For

  • A current, up-to-date resume
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections)
  • At least 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred; phlebotomy certification preferred
  • Strong customer service, communication, and data entry skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel between sites
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call as needed
  • Ability to meet compliance requirements
