Location: Lincoln, NE
Pay Rate: $28/hour
Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30am–8:00pm availability (8–10 hour shifts)

Why This Role Matters
You will play a critical role in delivering accurate diagnostic results by ensuring proper specimen collection and handling, while creating a positive and reassuring experience for every patient.

What You'll Do

  • Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary techniques (pediatric, geriatric, and adult patients)
  • Prepare, label, and process specimens according to established procedures
  • Verify patient demographics and ensure accurate documentation, including patient acknowledgment post‑collection
  • Provide clear explanations of procedures to patients to build trust and confidence
  • Travel to multiple locations as needed to support patient service centers and in-office collections
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment
  • Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection as required

What We're Looking For

  • A current, up-to-date resume
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • 3+ years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections
  • Strong data entry and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a high-volume environment
  • Flexible availability, including potential weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record
  • Excellent communication skills and commitment to patient care and confidentiality
  • Ability to meet compliance requirements
