Tropical Smoothie Cafe is looking for an experienced, motivated, and dependable General Manager to lead our team and oversee daily restaurant operations.
The General Manager will be responsible for building a strong team, maintaining excellent customer service, increasing sales, controlling labor and food costs, and ensuring the cafe operates smoothly every day.
Responsibilities:
• Hire, train, schedule, coach, and manage team members
• Maintain high standards for customer service, food quality, cleanliness, and speed of service
• Monitor labor costs, food costs, inventory, and waste
• Help increase sales through local marketing and community outreach
• Handle employee performance, attendance, and daily operational issues
• Ensure all Tropical Smoothie Cafe policies and food safety standards are followed
• Maintain accurate inventory, ordering, cash handling, and operational records
• Be actively involved in cafe operations and support the team during busy periods
Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of restaurant management experience preferred
• ServSafe Manager Certification preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with hiring, scheduling, training, inventory, and cost control
• Must be dependable, organized, professional, and willing to lead by example
• Must have open availability, including some mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
We are looking for a hands-on leader who takes ownership of the restaurant, develops employees, provides excellent guest service, and helps grow the business.

Required qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred qualifications:
- 6+ months of experience in the food & restaurant industry
- 20 years or older
- Food Service license/certification: ServSafe Manager Certification
- Valid driver's license
