CMM Programmer / Quality Control Inspector - Now Hiring

Hydracore is a precision machining shop trusted by leaders in defense, medical device, and specialty chemical manufacturing. Every part that leaves our building has to be right — and that's where you come in. We're looking for a sharp, detail-driven CMM programmer/operator who takes real pride in getting the numbers exact and the paperwork clean.

This isn't a "clock in, clock out" kind of role. We want someone who's genuinely into precision measurement, who sees a tricky GD&T callout as a puzzle worth solving, and who wants to keep building their skills alongside a team that backs them up.

What You'll Be Doing

• Programming and running our Zeiss CMMs (Contura and Prismo) to inspect components, assemblies, and subassemblies against engineering drawings
• Reading and interpreting ISO/ASME GD&T across a range of part complexities
• Building smart inspection plans based on part geometry, tolerances, and functional requirements
• Keeping our calibration program tight and compliant with internal and industry quality standards
• Partnering with machinists and engineering to catch issues early — not after the part's already shipped

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience programming and operating Zeiss CMMs (Calypso experience is a big plus)
• Comfort with everyday inspection tools — calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, bore gauges, optical comparators
• Solid GD&T fundamentals, whether from formal training or years on the floor
• ProShop ERP experience is a bonus, not a requirement
• 2+ years CMM operating experience; 3+ years programming preferred
• A sharp eye, a steady hand, and no problem asking "does this actually meet spec?"
