Are you a payroll pro with multi-state experience looking for your next opportunity? We're working with a growing company in southern Rhode Island that is seeking a Payroll Specialist to keep its payroll operations running smoothly and accurately.

Key Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist
- Process multi-state payroll accurately and on schedule
- Ensure compliance with state and federal payroll regulations
- Maintain payroll records and resolve discrepancies
- Handle deductions, garnishments, and tax filings
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries
- Assist with audits and reporting as needed
Qualifications of the Payroll Specialist
- Multi-state payroll experience required
- Large company payroll experience strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid understanding of payroll compliance and regulations
- Proficiency with payroll systems and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
