POSITION: Facility Maintenance
COMPANY AND POSITION DESCRIPTION:
§ CoreWorks manufactures Cold Boxes/Skids and other associated equipment used in natural gas processing, LNG, industrial Gas and Petrochemical applications. We are looking for an experienced, hardworking professional who enjoys meeting challenges and surpassing customer expectations to join our team. Ideal candidates for this position should have Fabrication Shop Maintenance Technician experience, responsible for the upkeep and repair of all machinery and equipment within a fabrication facility, ensuring optimal operational efficiency by performing routine maintenance checks, troubleshooting malfunctions, making necessary repairs, and coordinating with production teams to minimize downtime, maximize productivity.
§ Position is full time.
§ Compensation will be DOE.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preventative Maintenance:
§ Conduct regular inspections of all fabrication equipment, including cutting machines, welding equipment, presses, and hand tools, to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
§ Perform routine lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments on machinery according to manufacturer guidelines.
§ Monitor and maintain fluid levels in hydraulic systems and coolant reservoirs.
§ Replace worn-out parts proactively to prevent unexpected breakdowns.
Repair and Troubleshooting:
§ Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic malfunctions on fabrication equipment.
§ Perform repairs including component replacement, adjustments, and alignment of machinery.
§ Collaborate with technicians from other disciplines (electrical, plumbing) when necessary for complex repairs.
Safety and Compliance:
§ Ensure all machinery is operating within safety standards and comply with relevant regulations.
§ Conduct safety inspections and address any hazards identified.
§ Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities and repairs.
Communication and Coordination:
§ Communicate effectively with production staff to identify maintenance needs and minimize production disruptions.
§ Coordinate with outside vendors for repairs requiring specialized expertise or parts procurement.
§ Report critical maintenance issues to management promptly.
REQUIREMENTS:
§ High school diploma or GED (degree preferred).
§ Have a valid driver license.
§ Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
DESIRED SKILLS:
Technical Skills:
§ Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in industrial machinery maintenance,
including knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
§ Proficient in welding techniques and ability to read schematics
§ Familiarity with fabrication processes like cutting, welding
§ Electrical experience
Problem-Solving:
§ Ability to diagnose complex machinery issues and implement effective solutions.
§ Critical thinking skills to identify root causes of malfunctions
