Carpenter's Helper

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Carpenter/Helper to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will assist with a wide range of carpentry and construction tasks, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Whether working on framing, trim carpentry, or installing building materials, your hands-on expertise will contribute directly to the success of our projects. Responsibilities

• Assist senior carpenters with framing, door hanging, window installation, and cabinetry setup.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and install various building materials.
• Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution.
• Help with construction site cleanup, material handling, and organization to maintain a safe work environment.
• Contribute to restoration efforts, hardscape installation, glass installation, and flooring or tile laying projects.

Experience

• Prior construction experience is required; familiarity with carpentry techniques is essential.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings is highly desirable.
• Experience operating heavy equipment or scaffolding is a plus but not mandatory.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in framing, trim carpentry, and material installation.
• Ability to work effectively on construction sites in various conditions while adhering to safety protocols.
• Basic understanding of schematics related to electrical or plumbing systems is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions and collaborate within a team environment.
