Area Manager | Multi Unit Operations | Bakery Café & Restaurant

We're looking for an experienced Area Manager to support multiple franchise locations by providing operational guidance, business insights, and hands-on coaching that drives long-term success.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys influencing results through collaboration rather than direct management while helping franchise partners deliver outstanding guest experiences and strong financial performance.

What You'll Do

• Build trusted relationships with franchise owners and General Managers as their primary operations partner.
• Conduct regular café visits to evaluate operational execution, food quality, cleanliness, and guest experience.
• Identify opportunities to improve sales, profitability, labor, inventory, and overall business performance.
• Coach operators on best practices in leadership, operations, and financial management.
• Support new store openings, remodels, equipment installations, and other key business initiatives.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure franchisees receive the resources and support needed for success.
• Monitor guest feedback and help operators strengthen service standards and customer satisfaction.
• Reinforce food safety, sanitation, and brand standards across all locations.
• Share operational best practices that help franchisees improve consistency and long term performance.

What We're Looking For

• 2 or more years of multi-unit leadership or franchise operations experience in restaurants, cafés, hospitality, or retail.
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations, guest service, inventory management, labor, and financial performance.
• Experience coaching General Managers or business owners to improve operational results.
• Ability to analyze business metrics and translate data into actionable improvements.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable traveling throughout the assigned market to support multiple locations.
• Experience with POS systems. Toast experience is a plus.
