Receiver Stocker

Core Responsibilities

• Unload Shipments: Safely operate forklifts or pallet jacks to remove freight from delivery trucks.
• Inspect and Verify: Cross-reference incoming items with packing slips, invoices, or handheld inventory scanners to check for missing parts, overages, or damage.
• Measure: fabric rolls come in a variety of sizes, we need exact dimensions of goods received recorded before stocking.
• Record Data: Update inventory logs and document discrepancies, or defective materials.
• Organize Stock: Label items and place them into designated warehouse locations or storage racks.

While performing the duties of this position:

• The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
• The employee is required to use hands or fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• The employee is required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• The employee must lift and or move 50 to 75+ pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
• It is an air-conditioned warehouse, but some outdoor work is required to dispose of packaging and disassemble pallets etc.
