Skilled Laborer

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s license
• Ability and willingness to acquire a DOT medical card
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Ability to read a tape measure and use general hand tools
• Hold Unique skills or abilities applicable to the trades associated with General Construction

o I.E. a Selection of

• Efficiently and Safely Operating Equipment
• Setting Forms
• Flat work, Wall forms, or Curb Forms
• Effectively Placing Concrete or Asphalt
• Effectively Finishing Concrete of Asphalt
• Being Mechanically inclined
• Ability to accurately read prints
• General Carpentry skills
• General skills in Mathematics
• Ability to set grades
• Ability to use Msc. Power tools
• Etc.

Responsibilities

• Follow Directions and accomplish tasks set out by foreman
• Aid crew and foreman with various designated tasks pertaining to all levels of the Job
• Take efforts to ensure a clean job site, job trailer, and tools
• Preform variable labor related tasks such as moving, storing, and applying various materials, tools, and equipment.
• Driving Single axle Dump trucks
• Driving Miscellaneous trucks and trailers
• Arrive onsite at scheduled times
• Take necessary steps to learn and advance in role
• Assist in Developing and teaching skills to General Laborers
