We are a well-established land surveying firm that has proudly served the North Texas area for over the last 25 years. Our projects range from residential lot surveys to highly detailed topographic surveys for some of the region's most prestigious ultra-high-end residential properties, as well as commercial ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys. We are tech driven and utilize Robotic Total Stations, LiDAR scanners, Drones, and conventional survey equipment. Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Survey Party Chief to add to our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in operating Trimble surveying equipment, committed to accuracy, and capable of working independently while representing our company professionally in the field.
Responsibilities
- Operate Trimble GPS, robotic total stations, and data collectors.
- Perform boundary, residential, topographic, construction, and ALTA/NSPS surveys.
- Collect and document accurate field data.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, contractors, and office staff.
- Ensure field work complies with company standards and safety requirements.
- Maintain survey equipment and company vehicle.
- Train and mentor crew members when required.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Survey Party Chief required.
- Strong proficiency with Trimble survey equipment.
- Working knowledge of boundary, topographic, construction, and ALTA/NSPS surveying procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret deeds, plats, maps, construction plans, and survey records.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and terrain conditions.
- Desire to work toward becoming a SIT or RPLS.
- FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot License is a plus.
