Overview

Our client, a major attraction in Times Square, is looking for one standout person to be the welcoming face of their front entrance — the first impression every guest and visiting VIP gets when they walk through the door.

This isn't a typical door attendant role. Think luxury hotel doorman meets knowledgeable tour guide: someone polished enough to represent a major brand, sharp enough to know the property and everything it offers inside and out, and steady enough to keep things calm and welcoming even when the area gets busy.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests and VIPs at the property entrance with warmth and professionalism
• Build familiarity with regular visitors and property leadership over time
• Maintain strong working knowledge of every attraction, experience, and item available for purchase throughout the property, and confidently answer guest questions about them
• Assist directly with ticket purchases when needed
• Maintain a calm, confident presence in a high-traffic public environment; de-escalate minor situations with a steady, hospitable approach and loop in security/management when needed
• Represent the brand consistently in appearance and conduct, including wearing a provided uniform (including seasonal gear) at all times on shift
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions using scheduled breaks

Experience

• Experience in luxury hospitality, hotel door/concierge services, high-end residential concierge, or similar front-of-house guest services roles
• Strong people skills and natural warmth with guests of all backgrounds
• Calm, professional demeanor under pressure; comfortable holding a boundary without confrontation
• Comfortable working outdoors and on your feet for extended shifts
• Reliable, punctual, and presentable; willing to adhere to uniform and grooming standards
