Typical day to day tasks include but are not limited to assisting in wellness exams, same day emergency appointments, technician appointments, diagnostics (x-rays, ultrasound, blood draws), surgery, stocking, maintaining clinic hygiene, updating and maintaining accurate patient medical records, reception, client communication, and jumping in to help teammates when needed.

Two years plus in the veterinary field preferred
Position is full-time (no weekends, nights, or holidays)
$20-25/hr for non-certified veterinary assistants
*NOTE: We are a certified externship sight for Penn Foster certified veterinary technician program. If interested in becoming a certified technician, we offer a significant pay increase as well as help with tuition.
$28-$35/hr for certified veterinary assistants
