Packaging Machine Operator

The Packaging Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various types of packaging machines, including standard, custom, and automated systems. This role requires ensuring product quality and safety compliance while working independently and as part of a small team under the guidance of a direct supervisor. Occasional equipment maintenance is also part of the daily duties.

Shifts available: 2nd and 3rd

Responsibilities

• Set up packaging machines for production runs
• Monitor machine operation to ensure efficiency and quality
• Conduct quality inspections on packaged products
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
• Maintain accurate production and maintenance records
• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisor
• Perform occasional equipment maintenance and troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in machine operation
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of machine operation and mechanical troubleshooting
• Experience with quality control and safety compliance
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
