Job Title: EVS Technician
Job Description
As an EVS Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of patient rooms, discharge rooms, and public areas such as lobbies and restrooms throughout the hospital. Your duties will include wiping down surfaces, sweeping, mopping, removing trash and laundry, and performing other necessary cleaning tasks. Upholding sanitation standards is essential, as cleanliness and safety are top priorities.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, discharge rooms, and public areas.
- Wipe down surfaces, sweep, mop, and remove trash and laundry.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation standards to maintain safety.
- Work on a rotating weekend schedule to ensure coverage in a 24/7 hospital environment.
Essential Skills
- 1+ year of housekeeping or janitorial experience.
- Experience in a hospital or hotel setting is preferred.
- Comfortable working in a medical environment with exposure to blood and trauma.
- Ability to lift and push between 50-75 pounds.
- Capability to stand for 6-8 hours per day.

Work Environment
Work in a hospital environment that is very fast-paced and demands high standards. The Round Rock location requires candidates to be ready to work diligently and meet cleanliness expectations. Shifts are available around the clock, with 1st shift from 7am-3:30pm, 2nd shift from 2pm-10:30pm, and 3rd shift from 10:30pm-7am, accommodating a rotating weekend schedule

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
