Job Title: Site Laborer – Commercial Site Development
Pay: $25 – $35/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Job Type: Full-Time (OT opportunities)
Overview
Aerotek is hiring experienced Site Laborers for commercial site development and utility projects in the South Shore area. This is a full-time opportunity supporting site preparation, grading, and underground utility installation on construction sites
Responsibilities
Perform site preparation and grading work
Assist with installation of underground utilities including sewer, water, and drainage systems
Dig, trench, backfill, and support excavation activities
Work alongside operators and crews to maintain efficient site operations
Follow all safety standards and maintain a clean job site
Handle general labor tasks as needed on construction sites
Requirements
Experience as a site laborer in heavy civil or construction environments
Experience with underground utilities (sewer, water, drainage)
Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor conditions
Strong understanding of construction site safety practices
Reliable transportation and strong work ethic

Work Environment
You will work on large commercial construction job sites focused on site development projects across the South Shore and southern Massachusetts. The role involves a fast-paced, outdoor environment with exposure to varying weather conditions and active heavy equipment. You will use heavy equipment, hand tools, and basic carpentry tools while collaborating closely with site laborers, trades, and supervisors. The position follows a contract-to-hire model, with standard construction site hours and the expectation of reliable daily travel to different project locations.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Weymouth, MA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $35.00/hr.
