Express Employment is looking for a General Labor/Automotive Technician Assistant

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking General Laborer. The ideal candidate should have basic automotive knowledge, including tire repair and brake service, and be willing to assist with various shop duties. This is a great opportunity for someone with 1-2 years of automotive experience who wants to grow in the industry.

Work Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM-4:00 PM or 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Pay: $20/hour

Location: Oroville, CA

Job Description:

• Assist technicians with general automotive repairs and maintenance.
• Perform basic tire repairs, tire installation, and tire rotations.
• Assist with brake inspections and basic brake service.
• Maintain a clean and organized shop environment.
• Move vehicles safely around the shop and parking area.
• Check fluid levels and perform basic vehicle inspections.
• Help with loading, unloading, and organizing shop equipment and supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an automotive shop or similar environment.
• Basic knowledge of tire repair and brake systems.
• Ability to use common hand and power tools.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
