Job Title: Warehouse Coordinator
Job Description
The Warehouse Coordinator supports daily warehouse and logistics operations by safely picking, packing, and shipping products, as well as receiving goods and moving materials between the stockroom and assembly floor. This role combines hands-on forklift operation with the use of warehouse management and shipping systems to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant shipments to domestic and international customers. Approximately 30–40% of the role involves operating high reach and sit-down forklifts. The position follows a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with overtime as required.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare spare parts, customer sample products, rejections, and RMA items for shipment, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging.
- Prepare and ship office documents in accordance with company procedures.
- Utilize UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, and DHL EasyShip (DHL Plus) shipping software to process domestic and international shipments.
- Apply knowledge of international shipping regulations, including appropriate use of Certificates of Origin, USMCA requirements, ISPM-15, and Shipper’s Letters of Instruction, to ensure compliant shipments.
- Learn and use the TOTALogistix (TLX) TMS portal to manage LTL, dedicated, expedited, and international air freight shipments.
- Compare rates for all LTL and air shipments with at least two carriers to identify cost-effective options.
- Prepare all LTL or express freight bills and customer labels for LTL shipments.
- Prepare invoices and international documents for shipments not created on a sales order or those requiring special documentation for specific country regulations.
- Prepare shipping orders when the requisitioner has not supplied them with the shipment.
- Post or issue all inventory parts shipments and maintain accurate pack list files.
- Maintain inventory levels of packing materials and ensure they are replenished as needed.
- Safely load and unload heavy machinery, or demonstrate a willingness to learn safe loading and unloading procedures.
- File and forward all required shipping documents to accounting in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices and follow all safety rules within the warehouse and manufacturing areas.
- Work collaboratively with the Spare Parts team and other internal departments, providing professional and timely support.
- Assist in general warehouse functions as needed, including unloading trucks, putting parts away, picking and issuing parts, and performing cycle counts.
- Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts, including high reach equipment, to move and stage materials safely and efficiently.
- Use RF scan guns and WMS systems to perform accurate inventory and shipping transactions.
- Demonstrate regular and predictable attendance and fulfill all scheduled work hours.
- Communicate effectively with employees at all levels within the organization to coordinate shipments and resolve issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall warehouse and logistics operations.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with exposure to distribution center operations.
- Demonstrated ability to safely and effectively operate sit-down forklifts; high reach forklift experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience operating stand-up forklifts and handling material movement in a warehouse setting.
- Proficiency using warehouse management systems (WMS) for shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions.
- Hands-on experience with UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, and DHL EasyShip (DHL Plus) shipping software.
- Familiarity with international shipping regulations, including Certificates of Origin, USMCA documentation, ISPM-15 requirements, and Shipper’s Letters of Instruction.
- Ability to use RF scan guns and computer systems to accurately record and track inventory and shipments.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs consistently and up to 75 lbs intermittently.
- Ability to climb ladders and movable stairs consistently as part of daily tasks.
- High degree of mobility to move and stage machines and machine parts continuously.
- Capability to safely and effectively operate forklifts consistently throughout the workday.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records, documents, and pack lists.
- Effective communication skills to interact with team members and employees at all organizational levels.
- Adequate vision to perform warehouse tasks, including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Regular and predictable attendance, with the ability to meet the physical and operational demands of the role.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience specifically in a logistics-focused or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Comfort working with a variety of hand and power tools and computer peripherals.
- Experience using transportation management systems, such as the TOTALogistix (TLX) TMS portal, for LTL and air freight shipments.
- Ability to compare freight rates and select cost-effective carriers for LTL and air shipments.
- Experience preparing international shipping documents and invoices, especially for shipments requiring country-specific documentation.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain inventory levels of packing materials and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team, especially with Spare Parts and other internal departments.
- Willingness to learn new systems, tools, and processes related to shipping, logistics, and warehouse operations.
Work Environment
The role is based in a fairly clean manufacturing and warehouse environment with moderate noise levels. You will work Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with overtime as required to meet operational needs. The facility operates with strong safety and housekeeping standards, and you will frequently move between the stockroom, warehouse, and assembly floor. You will regularly use forklifts (including sit-down and high reach), RF scan guns, WMS systems, shipping software (UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, DHL EasyShip), and transportation management tools such as the TOTALogistix (TLX) TMS portal. The work requires frequent lifting, climbing ladders and movable stairs, and continuous mobility to move and stage machines and parts. Steel-toed boots are required as part of the dress code to ensure safety on the manufacturing floor. The culture is detail-oriented and process-driven, with clear procedures and a supportive, people-focused atmosphere.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $49920.00/yr.
