Welder Foreman

Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00 / hour (Depending on Experience)

LSI Staffing is seeking a highly skilled, reliable, and leadership-minded Welder Foreman for a premier, long-term opportunity in the Alvarado area. This is a hands-on, working foreman role for an individual who will lead by example, oversee daily shop workflow, and ensure strict quality and safety standards are met on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Supervision: Lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of welders to meet daily production goals efficiently.

• Multi-Process Welding: Perform high-quality welds utilizing MIG, TIG, Flux-Cored (FCAW), Submerged Arc (SAW), and Stick (SMAW).

• Precision Fitting: Layout, align, and fit complex vessels, piping systems, and structural steel components according to blueprints.

• Quality & Safety Assurance: Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet structural codes while maintaining a clean, hazard-free shop floor.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional welding and fabrication experience is required.

• Technical Mastery: Proven expertise fitting both structural components and high-pressure pipe/vessels.

• Blueprint Reading: Advanced ability to interpret complex technical drawings, schematics, and weld symbols.

• Leadership Skills: Prior supervisory or team-lead experience in a heavy manufacturing or fabrication environment is highly preferred.
