We are looking for a dependable Inventory Clerk to support day-to-day warehouse and inventory operations for a Contract position based in Woburn, Massachusetts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, stays organized in a fast-moving setting, and takes pride in accuracy across receiving, stock handling, and order support. The position works Monday through Friday and includes a one-hour lunch break along with two 15-minute breaks.
Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inventory counts and stock audits to maintain accurate records and support effective inventory control practices.
• Assist with order fulfillment tasks, including picking, packing, labeling, and preparing materials for shipment according to daily volume targets.
• Support kitting and light assembly activities by gathering components and organizing materials for project completion.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts when needed, while following site safety procedures and handling guidelines.
• Keep warehouse areas orderly, clean, and well organized to promote safe and efficient daily operations.
• Work closely with team members across warehouse functions while also managing assigned tasks independently with minimal supervision.• At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred, though candidates with strong potential and willingness to learn will be considered.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume setting while maintaining accuracy in inventory handling, packing, and shipping activities.
• Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and remain standing or moving throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Strong attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and a careful approach to recordkeeping and physical inventory tasks.
• Comfortable using basic computer applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, for routine warehouse and inventory processes.
• Clear English communication skills, both written and verbal, to support coordination and documentation.
• Experience with inventory tracking, asset inventory processes, or annual physical inventory activities is beneficial.
• Familiarity with AS9100 standards or similar quality requirements is an advantage.
