This role focuses on setting up and operating CNC milling machines, primarily Toyoda 3-axis equipment, to produce precision components. You will perform light programming using G and M codes, interpret blueprints, and ensure high-quality machining in a professional CNC machine shop environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines, with a focus on Toyoda 3-axis equipment.
- Perform CNC setups for milling operations, including tooling, fixturing, and workpiece alignment.
- Execute light CNC programming using G and M codes to adjust and optimize machining operations.
- Interpret and work from engineering blueprints and technical drawings to produce accurate parts.
- Use Mastercam and other programming tools, as applicable, to support CNC mill programming activities.
- Apply knowledge of GD&T to ensure parts meet dimensional and geometric specifications.
- Monitor machine operations, make necessary offsets and adjustments, and maintain consistent part quality.
- Work with multi-axis milling equipment as needed to support production requirements.
- Inspect finished parts to verify accuracy and quality, and make corrections when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in the CNC machine shop.
- Minimum 3 years of CNC setup milling experience.
- Proficiency in CNC milling setup and operation, including 3-axis machinery.
- Experience working with Toyoda CNC milling machines or similar equipment.
- Ability to perform G code and M code programming for CNC mills.
- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience with CNC mill programming and machine setup.
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls or comparable CNC control systems.
- Working knowledge of GD&T principles for precision machining.
- Ability to troubleshoot machining issues and adjust machine parameters as needed.
- Experience with Mastercam programming, with openness to further training where needed.
- Exposure to multi-axis CNC milling operations.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks or similar CAD software for reviewing models and drawings.
- Experience in a CNC machine shop environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a stable, tenured team.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
