Customer Service Analyst


About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Analyst to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, analyzing account information, researching discrepancies, and providing exceptional service. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting business customers by managing account-related inquiries, processing refunds, and assisting with licensing matters.


Responsibilities

  • Process business refunds and front-counter customer transactions
  • Research and resolve outstanding account balances
  • Analyze business accounts and financial records
  • Assist customers with business licensing inquiries and applications
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation within company systems
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive customer experience
  • Support department initiatives and special projects as assigned


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Beginner to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working with spreadsheets and creating basic formulas
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Previous customer service, customer account management, or customer support experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Pivot Tables and V-Lookups in Excel
  • Background in financial analysis, account reconciliation, or business operations
  • Experience working with business licenses or account administration
