Position Summary

The Lube Technician is responsible for performing preventive maintenance services on customer vehicles, including oil changes, fluid inspections, filter replacements, and other basic automotive services. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes according to company and manufacturer standards.
• Check and top off vehicle fluids, including coolant, transmission fluid, brake fluid, and windshield washer fluid.
• Inspect air filters, wiper blades, batteries, belts, and hoses.
• Check and adjust tire pressure.
• Conduct courtesy vehicle inspections and communicate findings to customers and management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Assist with shop maintenance and inventory management as needed.
• Provide outstanding customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work collaboratively with team members to maintain efficient shop operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous automotive maintenance experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to learn automotive service procedures and safety practices.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable attendance and positive attitude.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and shop conditions.
• Ability to safely operate automotive tools and equipment.
