Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for preparing and kitting materials for the production departments. You will ensure the safe execution of warehouse processes by closely adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instruction Documents (WID), and work orders relating to material handling, equipment operation, and packaging.
Responsibilities
- Receive and fill orders in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.
- Place all incoming and outgoing materials, finished goods, raw materials, and supplies in the appropriate staging, shipping, receiving, or storage locations.
- Utilize tools and equipment such as computers, handheld scanners, tape guns, calculators, measuring tools, pallet jacks, forklifts, and swing reach equipment.
- Follow all safety requirements and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Maintain accurate inventory in designated warehouses and locations.
- Ensure work areas are kept safe, clean, and organized.
- Use strong attention to detail to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Prepare and account for all material movement documentation and update inventory management systems accordingly.
- Actively participate in Practical Process Improvements (PPI), Lean, and Continuous Improvement activities including 5S activities.
- Work effectively as part of a team and assist with training and mentoring co-workers.
- Focus on personal development through timely and proactive completion of training.
- Adhere to schedules to ensure production goals are met.
Essential Skills
- Experience in general production, shipping & receiving, packing, packaging, and inventory.
- Proficiency with RF scanners, pallet jacks, and order picking.
- Capability in material handling, inventory control, and loading operations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Forklift operating experience (certification provided if no prior experience).
- Ability to work in and out of a cleanroom environment.

Work Environment
The role is based in a warehouse environment. Responsibilities include lifting items weighing over 25 lbs and working at heights. The schedule is Monday to Thursday from 6 am to 4:30 pm. We also have night shift available from 7:30pm - 6am. And weekend shifts from fri - sun at 6am - 6:30pm.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Logan, UT.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
