We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC lathes and mills, including Haas and Cincinnati equipment, to produce precision tooling components. You will work with both 3- and 4-axis CNC machinery and ensure that all parts meet exact specifications and tolerances.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills.
- Operate 3- and 4-axis CNC machinery to produce precision tooling components.
- Read and interpret complex blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Perform in-process inspections to ensure parts meet exact specifications and tolerances.
- Adjust machine settings, tooling, and offsets as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment following standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets.
- Previous experience as a CNC Machinist, including setup and operation.
- Experience with 3-axis and/or 4-axis machining.
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints.
- Proficient using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measurement tools.
- Solid understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials.
- Strong attention to detail, quality-focused mindset, and reliable work ethic.
- Experience in CNC programming is advantageous.
- Participation in an apprenticeship program for Machinists is beneficial.

Work Environment
The tooling department provides a clean, organized, and safety-focused manufacturing environment ideal for precision machining work. You will work with modern CNC lathes and mills, including Haas and Cincinnati machines, alongside skilled machinists, toolmakers, and technicians. The role involves standing for extended periods, working around running machinery, and using precision measurement tools. The work is hands-on and detail-oriented, focusing on producing high-accuracy components. The schedule rotates between day and night shifts, with start times at 6:00 AM or 7:00 AM for day shifts and 10:00 PM for night shifts. A 10% shift differential is offered for rotating night shifts, and a 15% differential is available for straight night shifts.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52936.00 - $66560.00/yr.
