Financial Cost Analyst - Manufacturing Operation

Job Summary The Financial Analyst/Cost Accountant supports audit processes, inventory monitoring, month-end consolidation, and financial reporting. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy in financial data, supports margin enhancement projects, and drives process improvements through KPI reporting and analysis. Key Responsibilities Assist in audit processes including quarterly fixed asset reviews (additions, retirements, true-ups) Balance inventories monthly across board, WIP, FG, supplies, and intercompany charges Support physical inventory counts for FG, WIP, board, supplies, and company assets Monitor raw materials and finished goods, reporting findings to Finance Manager/General Manager Assist with month-end consolidation and coordinate with corporate departments for financial reporting esolve discrepancies in month-end reporting and support working capital management Collaborate on margin enhancement projects with other departments Support department managers with data input and reporting Drive process improvement through KPI reporting and tool implementation Analyze financials for significant fluctuations and prepare reporting presentations Collaborate with AP/AR and production teams to correct errors, ensure proper timing, and approve AP monthly accruals Review job costing reports and report on variances Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting Strong knowledge of general ledger and financial reporting Proficiency in MS Office, especially Advanced Excel Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Preferred Qualifications Experience with audit support and fixed asset management Familiarity with inventory monitoring and job costing Certifications (if applicable) C PA or CMA certification preferred but not required Education: Bachelors Degree
