Make Ready Technician

Pay: $20/hr | Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

BG Staffing is currently seeking a dependable Make Ready Technician for a residential community in Akron, OH 44313. This is a great opportunity for someone with apartment turn or maintenance experience who is ready to start immediately and grow into a long-term role.

• Location: Akron, OH 44313
• Pay: $20/hr
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–4 PM (1‑hour lunch)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Opportunity Type: Contract‑to‑Hire

• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in (make-readies/turns)
• Perform basic repairs including painting, drywall, flooring, light plumbing, and electrical
• Replace fixtures, appliances, and hardware as needed
• Ensure apartments meet quality and safety standards prior to occupancy
• Maintain cleanliness of units and work areas
• Assist with general maintenance duties as assigned

• Previous apartment maintenance or make-ready experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
