Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for a Customer Service Representative to join a local company in the Port Richey, FL area.

The ideal candidate will have previous customer service experience in a professional office or business setting (not retail or restaurant customer service) or call center experience. Strong telephone communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and experience contacting customers regarding past-due accounts are highly preferred.

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday-Friday
• Daytime schedule
• Immediate start available

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer calls and manage customer accounts
• Schedule service and delivery orders
• Coordinate scheduling with the operations team
• Process billing and customer payments
• Contact customers regarding past-due accounts and outstanding balances
• Address customer questions, concerns, and service issues
• Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate department
• Multitask and prioritize daily responsibilities
• Follow up on customer needs to ensure a positive customer experience
• Maintain accurate records and provide professional, courteous customer service

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in a professional office or business setting
• Call center experience preferred
• Experience making accounts receivable or past-due account calls strongly preferred
• Strong telephone and communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to provide professional work references
• Experience with appointment routing or service scheduling is a plus

Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
